With their various sneaker deals,\u00a0NBA players\u00a0either wear new shoes every game or just play in the same pair for multiple games. Some players even wear the same pair all season long, while others may change their shoes at halftime during games. There’s a reason for this as it mainly depends on feel and comfort.<\/p>\n

Kawhi Leonard<\/strong> doesn’t do anything too drastic when it comes to his game shoes. Yet since he plays so hard, the Spurs All-Star rocks new versions of his Air Jordan XXX1 PE\u00a0every four games, as reported by\u00a0Melissa Rohlin of the San Antonio Express-News<\/em><\/a>\u00a0in reference to word from Spurs’ equipment manager Travis Wade:<\/p>\n

Wade said a shoe\u2019s longevity depends on a variety of factors; personal preference, superstition and wear and tear. Leonard, one of the top two-way players in the NBA, frequently needs new shoes because of his style of play.<\/p>\n

\u201cHe goes pretty hard in the shoes,\u201d Wade said.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n
