Often overlooked yet pivotal in Jordan Brand’s global expansion, and the continued progression of high-end sneakers, the Air Jordan 2<\/a> looks to take its rightful place in the sun with a new modern iteration — the Air Jordan 2 Decon<\/strong>.<\/p>\n Debuted earlier today in “Mint Foam,”<\/a> the slimmed silhouette is removed from excess padding and weighty leather. Instead, the deconstructed model features a lightly textured suede fabrication with traditional midsole tooling below.<\/p>\n Jordan Brand alum and current NikeLab employee Danny Nunez\u00a0today debuted the shoe in a monotone “Bordeaux” colorway, which takes from the Air Jordan 7<\/a>\u00a0of the same name yet without the excess black, grey and yellow tones.<\/p>\n Early reports indicate that the Air Jordan 2 Decon will release sometime in July.
