Although we’ve seen the adidas Superstar Boost through collaborative offerings like today’s release from BAPE x NEIGHBORHOOD and the upcoming Sneakernstuff x Social Status drop, the brand with the three stripes haven’t officially announced the shoe to the general public. Today, adidas gives us a true look at one of their most iconic shoes joined with their culture shifting technology.

The adidas Superstar Boost combines the classic 80’s design with modern-day Boost foam cushioning. Traditional notations of the shoe remain intact, like the three stripes branding across the paneling and of course the shell-toe. But Boost can be noted through a die-cut window on the outsole and within the medial arch of the midsole. The upper is produced in premium elk leather.

Releasing globally on February 9th, the adidas Superstar Boost debuts in men’s sizing in a traditional Black/White colorway. Women’s colorways, though, are a bit more experimental in Metallic Bronze and Metallic Silver iterations. Take a closer look below and share your thoughts.

Release Date: February 9, 2017

adidas Superstar Boost
