Major key alert: My 5<\/a> Mondays<\/strong><\/em> are here and here to stay. Traveling all the way to the other side of the globe, we caught up with a store owner and culture shifter that has been in the game for decades. Before you get his rotation, get to know him in his own words:<\/p>\n

My name is Fabrizio de Lucia<\/strong>, I\u2019m an 80\u2019s kid, born and raised in the eternal city, better known as the city of Rome. My passion for sneakers and street culture started in 2002 when Nike SB started collaborating with artists and other brands \u2013 the time when limited edition actually meant something! I was really able to find myself in the combination between music, art and sneakers.<\/em><\/p>\n

With my vision I continuously attempt to transform the city by creating an urban subculture that Rome – compared to other big metropolis in Europe (or even the world) \u2013 never really had. The first step in this was the creation of Providermag in 2005. Providermag was the first blog in Italy dedicated to sneaker culture and street style. I think it has been a great building block for many of the blogs that have popped up in this country in the past 11 years. Because of Providermag I\u2019ve had the opportunity to travel the world and see the things that are missing in my hometown and incorporate them in my projects.<\/em><\/p>\n

That\u2019s when I opened SUEDE Store<\/a> in 2012. The concept of the store is to combine sneakers and art in one space by organizing events where Romans who are interested in art, music and sneakers can come together. I\u2019m not going to give you a list of the crazy stuff we\u2019ve done since the store has opened, but the recent number one is for sure the collaboration with adidas Originals in September 2015. We transformed the store into the only adidas Originals Tubular pop-up store in Europe. This experience has put the store on a new level: starting from this year, SUEDE has become part of the Consortium family of Adidas. And this is only the beginning. We\u2019re on to some new sh*t, get ready!<\/em><\/p>\n

Fabrizio de Lucia:<\/strong> These shoes blew my mind the first time I put them on. The Boost comfort on them is one-of-a-kind and I have become totally hooked to them. I think also how this shoe has totally changed the sneaker market. I wear them almost every day — different colorways, of course.<\/p>\n

\"Pharrell<\/p>\n

Fabrizio de Lucia:<\/strong> To me, Pharrell is one the godfathers of streetwear. I\u2019ve followed him ever since I was a teenager and I\u2019ve seen him grow and transform. I admire him for how he is able to translate his vision into the streetwear that he designs. I really like it and the message behind this shoe: as human beings we all have a color. We all look different, we all speak different languages, but we\u2019re all connected.<\/p>\n

Fabrizio de Lucia:<\/strong> Diadora has taken a completely new turn on its designs and I love it. Together we have been able to push the brand\u2019s visibility in Rome, especially with their latest project \u2018From Seoul to Rio.\u2019 SUEDE was together with Beams — the only store in the world to release the collection — and I am very proud of that. The fact that the shoe is Made in Italy is visible and felt in every way. And let’s not forget the insane snakeskin effect.<\/p>\n

Fabrizio de Lucia:<\/strong> I love Ronnie. Other than his knowledge and passion for sneakers I admire him for the way he has been able to become the king of marketing in his field. This shoe is a tribute to his time from when he was a salesman of David Z to becoming one the most important figure in the sneaker market.<\/p>\n

Fabrizio de Lucia:<\/strong> This is a shoe that comes straight from my dreams but will hopefully be on the market one day. It would be a 998 Made in USA with different shades of purple, just like the drapery in the old buildings of Rome. The sole will have a \u2018Sampietrino\u2019 pattern, which are the cobblestones that we have on the streets of Rome. One day I\u2019ll be walking around in these every day!<\/p>\n
