The question was never if Nike would retro LeBron James‘ signature collection. They’d be crazy not to. The real question was always when. When would it happen? Well from the looks of it later this year, as a first look at the Nike Air Zoom Generation retro is revealed today.

It appears the “First Game” Zoom Generations will be James’ first foray into the retro market, and it’s the perfect shoe to make a splash. Largely heralded as one of his best shoes and colorways respectively, this 2017 retro looks strikingly true to the original. This first image also showcases a slide-out red box that we’ve seen in use with coveted NSW collaborative releases (Supreme x Air Max 98, ACRONYM Prestos , etc).

Stay tuned for more on the Nike Air Zoom Generation “First Game” retro right here at Snkrs Day.
