As the calendar flips to a new year, goals are restored and often set to the highest standard. Runners tend to understand this best, as the new year begins with cold, frigid temperatures. Training outdoors quickly becomes a daunting task. Adidas Running recently rewarded those daring enough to brave record cold in Portland with Boost sneakers.

While traveling in a tricked out adidas van, they canvassed the city handing out Boost sneakers to the runners sticking to their training regiment no matter the temperature. Hitting the city’s hot spots like Mt. Tabor, Eastbank Esplanade and Washington Park, adidas set up pop-up refreshments and stations to try on Ultra Boost, UB Uncaged, Pure Boost X and Alphabounce sneakers. Runners who swapped out their current pairs then had the opportunity to donate old pairs to the Boys & Girls Club of Portland.
