Trey Lyles<\/strong> is stock on the rise. After an impressive college campaign at Kentucky, the lottery pick quickly made himself a staple of the Utah Jazz rotation early on, even cracking the starting lineup from time to time as a 20 year old rookie. Now in his second season, he’s continuing to up his average on the hardwood while also catching our eye with his kicks on and off court. Trey Lyles:<\/strong> “I’ve been wearing those a lot. I just got the Fade to Black Pack and the IIIs were the first pair I played in. I never played in IIIs before and they’re probably some of the most comfortable Kobes I’ve ever worn. I’ve been wearing the FTB VIs too, but I’m waiting to break out the other ones.”<\/p>\n

“Playing against Kobe in his last game was crazy. Besides the game, just the atmosphere. I was seeing people I’d never seen before — Kanye, Jay Z and Snoop Dogg all on the sideline. But then the game itself was crazy. Me, I’m a Kobe fan so being in that position was awesome for me. His last game going out like a true legend was awesome.”<\/p>\n

Air Jordan 1s<\/h2>\n Air Jordan 1 “Reverse Shattered Backboard”\n

Trey Lyles:<\/strong> “I wear the ‘Top 3,’ ‘Powder Blue’ and ‘Reverse Shattered Backboard’ 1s. The ‘Reverse Backboards’ are my recent pickup. I got blessed on that one. Joe Johnson gave them to me when he got here because me and him wear the same size. I told him if he doesn’t need anything he can throw them my way. He blessed me and those are my favorite 1s right now. I talk to him about playing for Jordan Brand and he says he just gets boxes. He took care of me that one time and he’ll always have stuff early. It’s cool having him around.”<\/p>\n

Trey Lyles:<\/strong> “I just started wearing them again. I was a little on the other side with them being a high top when they first came out, but I got a couple pairs when I was in high school and I liked them. I hooped in them at Kentucky for pretty much the whole season and last year I broke out the ‘Detail’ ones. They’re probably my second favorite Kobe to hoop in.”<\/p>\n

Trey Lyles:<\/strong> “This is my first time having the ‘Space Jams.’ I got the ’09s off this guy on eBay and I don’t wear them that often and when I do I kind of walk a little funny. [Laughs<\/em>] Growing up I was never able to afford Jordans but they’ve always been my favorite since the movie came out. Being able to get a pair and finally have them is cool for me. I haven’t gotten my ’16 pair yet but I should get them soon. I’ll probably hoop in them.”<\/p>\n

Trey Lyles:<\/strong> “I’m wearing the Kobe VI in like three or four colorways. I have the White\/Silver, the Fade to Black, and the “Barcelona” — I can’t wear those in games, but I’ve been practicing in them. The VI is my favorite Kobe to hoop in. Whenever I see them I try to pick them up as soon as I can.”<\/p>\n
