words \/\/ Nick DePaula:<\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n Balenciaga is the latest brand to get into the knit game.<\/p>\n The french fashion house most known by sneakerheads\u00a0for creating the lambskin-based Arena — an awesome shoe that has unfortunately become today’s America Cup — is shifting gears a bit as 2017 nears, with a new knit upper silhouette for both men and women.<\/p>\n Priced at an arbitrarily steep $545, each style of the “Speed Trainer” features a knit sock upper, memory foam insole and sculpted foam midsole. For now, the Italian-made trainers are only available in a simple Black\/White colorway, though we can expect to see more hues on the way ahead.
