{"id":518201,"date":"2016-11-29T12:03:38","date_gmt":"2016-11-29T17:03:38","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.snkrsday.com\/?p=518201"},"modified":"2016-11-29T12:03:38","modified_gmt":"2016-11-29T17:03:38","slug":"even-balenciaga-releasing-knit-sneakers","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.snkrsday.com\/even-balenciaga-releasing-knit-sneakers\/","title":{"rendered":"Even Balenciaga Is Releasing Knit Sneakers"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>words \/\/ <a href=\"https:\/\/www.snkrsday.com\/author\/nickdepaula\/\">Nick DePaula:<\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Balenciaga is the latest brand to get into the knit game.<\/p>\n<p>The french fashion house most known by sneakerheads\u00a0for creating the lambskin-based Arena &#8212; an awesome shoe that has unfortunately become today&#8217;s America Cup &#8212; is shifting gears a bit as 2017 nears, with a new knit upper silhouette for both men and women.<\/p>\n<p>Priced at an arbitrarily steep $545, each style of the &#8220;Speed Trainer&#8221; features a knit sock upper, memory foam insole and sculpted foam midsole. For now, the Italian-made trainers are only available in a simple Black\/White colorway, though we can expect to see more hues on the way ahead. Balenciaga.com is now taking pre-orders for both <a href=\"http:\/\/www.balenciaga.com\/us\/sneakers-shoes_cod11153276nw.html\">Men<\/a> and <a href=\"http:\/\/www.balenciaga.com\/us\/sneakers-shoes_cod11153276nw.html\">Women<\/a>, with orders expected to be shipped at the start of the new year.<\/p>\n<p>Let us know what you think of the new
