The My 5 onslaught by way of Agenda Las Vegas continues as we caught up with Capo on the trade show floor. Yes, Dipset’s own Jim Jones was in attendance as part of his New Vampire Life brand, making the rounds and keeping it splashy per usual. Focusing on his all-time favorite silhouettes and regular wears, see what makes the cut for Jimmy in the pages below.

Jim Jones: “I’ve got 365 shoes in rotation, you heard? That’s how I do it. I always buy Jordans. The Air Jordan 1 has been emerging as my favorite lately. I’ve been waiting for those Bred 1s to come out. I need like four pairs of those, I bought like five pairs of the 5s with the Nike Air on the back. I had the Bred 1s in the past, but that’s a cute pair. [Laugh] They look like a pair of Louboutin’s, you’ve gotta keep those in the stash.”

Jim Jones: “The Air Jordan 6 has always been my all-time favorite. I got the DMP 6s at Flight Club with Joe (La Puma) and then when I went to the Bay a couple months later I bought the whole pack for $1,000.”

Jim Jones: “I’m from Harlem and high top Air Force 1s started in Harlem. Those are the drug dealer specials right there, you heard? Ain’t no three-quarters, ain’t no in betweens, it was either low top or high top. The first high top pair that I fell in love with was the all-brown ones with the cream check. That was 1990 actually, there was a store called Shoe World that sold them.”

Jim Jones: “Agassi’s have always been dope to me. He was a great sportsmen. I never played tennis, but the shoes were so electrifying. When you saw him he had the colors, he had the splash, he had the merch and t-shirts to match it. His attitude on the court was real flashy, he had a rockstar image on the court and it was really dope.”

Jim Jones: “Roshes are still in heavy rotation right now. They’re comfortable, they look cool and it’s still summertime. I change sneakers everyday so there’s really no pattern in the colors, it’s always a new pair. If I repeat it it’s most likely that I went to the gym to go work out in them. I’ve got a nice little connect at my man GB’s, he makes sure my sneaker collection is all the way up to par.”

Air Jordan 1 Black/Red
