{"id":50640,"date":"2009-10-07T10:58:13","date_gmt":"2009-10-07T15:58:13","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/nicekicks.com\/?p=50640"},"modified":"2022-09-15T12:14:51","modified_gmt":"2022-09-15T17:14:51","slug":"lebron-thinks-pink-for-preseason","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.snkrsday.com\/lebron-thinks-pink-for-preseason\/","title":{"rendered":"LeBron Thinks Pink for Preseason"},"content":{"rendered":"<table border=\"0\">\n<tbody>\n<tr>\n<td>\n<p>While it may not compare to the NFL&#8217;s everything-pink-but-uniforms Breast Cancer Awareness efforts, LBJ sported the Nike Zoom LeBron Soldier III &#8220;Think Pink&#8221; during Cleveland&#8217;s preseason victory over the Charlotte Bobcats last night.<\/p>\n<p>October is Breast Cancer Awarness month, and if you recall, the ZSIII &#8220;Think Pink&#8221; were created to pay tribute to late NCAA coach Kay Yow and also raise awareness, as were the Nike Hyperdunks &#8220;Think Pink.&#8221; They feature a pink and white make-up, with pink patent leather on the toe cap and uppers. As one of the most physical players in the game, it&#8217;s a little odd to see him wearing light pink, but the great story and cause behind these override the fact they don&#8217;t match the Cavs&#8217; jerseys. And it&#8217;s safe to assume that David Stern won&#8217;t fine LeBron for these like Michael&#8217;s black Air Jordan 1&#8217;s.<\/p>\n<p>The regular season is almost here, so don&#8217;t worry basketball fans.
