words & images \/\/ Nick DePaula:<\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n As Under Armour<\/a> prepares to launch Stephen Curry’s<\/a> newest addition to his budding signature editions this weekend, several seeding boxes recently showed up at the offices of footwear and hoops media types around the country.<\/p>\n With a blue hued box depicting Curry’s much perfected form, the box goes on to reveal a pair of the new Under Armour Curry 2.5, along with a pair of cropped sweatpants and a short-sleeved shoot-around hoody.<\/p>\n The 2.5, which sits atop the same midsole and outsole as this past fall’s Curry Two, features an upgraded rubberized upper for added protection, along with a neoprene sleeve collar that extends into the medial midfoot.<\/p>\n You’ll notice a warrior’s 5-point diamond\u00a0spearhead along the lateral side, helping to influence the design of the shoe and representing Stephen as the leader of his five Warriors on the court. Curry’s go-to phrase “I Can Do All Things” can also be spotted nestled into the shoe’s inner toe cap.<\/p>\n
