Last week we reported news that the YEEZY Season 2 appeal line would not release as anticipated<\/a>. That report also indicated the Season 2 footwear would in fact drop on schedule on June 6.<\/p>\n

We can now update that according to YEEZY label president, Pete Fox, that the footwear items releasing next month are not in association with adidas. Fox’s statement provides further details:<\/p>\n

“As a first of several launch announcements planned for this year, the highly anticipated YEEZY footwear<\/strong> collection from Kanye West\u2019s own signature line will be released globally on June 6, 2016 in select high-end fashion boutiques, specialty stores and online.”<\/p>\n

The takeaway here is that the June 6 global release is for “Kanye West’s own signature line,” as in not produced in conjunction with adidas.<\/p>\n

This, of course, does not mean that adidas YEEZY Boost<\/strong> aren’t releasing soon. It just means they aren’t releasing on June 6 as previously assumed.<\/p>\n
