Take a moment and let that sink in. For the last 20 years, Bryant has defined with it means to be a competitor, a winner and of course, a Laker.<\/p>\n<p>Starting today, over 200+ Nike-sponsored athletes will celebrate <strong>Mamba Day<\/strong> in honor of his storied career and departure from the game to which he&#8217;s given so much. The athletes will wear black and gold shoes as a metaphoric nod to the Black\u00a0Mamba.<\/p>\n<p>The global tribute will continue through April 13 where Bryant will compete in his final NBA game.
