You may have heard of him. On this day in sneaker history 21 years ago, the icon with Nikes on took his comeback tour to the hallowed Madison Square Garden. Following a baseball sabbatical and subsequent number change, some had to wonder if Mike would ever be Mike again.<\/p>\n<p>Lacing up the <strong>Air Jordan 10 &#8220;Chicago&#8221;<\/strong> against John Starks, Patrick Ewing and a New York Knicks team that had just made the NBA Finals, all uncertainty as to whether or not Mike still had it was put to rest as he put up 55 points on the defending Eastern Conference Champs.<\/p>\n<p>Heralded as the &#8220;Double Nickel&#8221; game, Mike&#8217;s incredible performance has become the thing of not just basketball lore but also sneaker history as the Air Jordan 10 &#8220;Chicago&#8221; released last year in PE form tagged as the &#8220;Double Nickel&#8221; to the delight of fans on its 20th Anniversary. While Mike and Nike gave the Knicks their own AJ10 exclusive in the form of the City Series release worn by UNC alum and blue-and-orange baller Hubert Davis, it was clear he also gave it to NYC with
