Although the Detroit Pistons were one of the few teams that came away form the NBA trade deadline as “winners” with their acquisition of Tobias Harris, it seems as though eventual NBA-MVP candidate Anthony Davis had something different in mind on Sunday.

In fact, so different that the All-Star forward dropped an absurd stat line of 59 points and 20 rebounds against Andre Drummond. With that in mind, we decided to unveil our latest edition of Kicks On Court Classic by taking a peek at the more notable NBA scoring outputs of the last decade.

Headlined by the likes of LeBron James, Kobe Bryant, and Carmelo Anthony, this feature is certainly worth the look as the pages are filled with an abundance of current and former stars. To see more, flip through the pages below to enjoy.

Date: February 21, 2016 Although Anthony Davis has had an up-and-down year due to a myriad of injuries both personally and as a collective team, he has seemingly resurged post All-Star break, as this performance against the Pistons caught the attention of many. Providing the first 55-plus and 20 rebound outing since Shaquille O’Neal back in 2000, Davis seems to be well on his way to securing an All-NBA honor that will subsequently secure the 5th year of his contract extension and its $30 Million provision. Date: March 4, 2014 Although LeBron James’ play this year has been much maligned, plenty of which is inaccurate and some of which could be justified, his lore as a NBA legend should not be discounted. This notion was further bolstered by his tenure in Miami in which he helped the Heat reach four consecutive NBA Finals.

During the 2013-2014 campaign, James would score a career high 61 points against the then-Charlotte Bobcats, despite nursing a broken nose at that moment. Showcasing an array of moves and deep three point shooting in his Zoom Soldiers, James would help fans understand why he’s one of the greats. Date: January 25, 2014 Despite Manhattan being now fully engulfed in “Porzingis-Mania,” the star power of Carmelo Anthony still reigns supreme for many New York Knick fans. With his stellar scoring exploits, it’s easy to see why that assertion is true, as back during the 2013-2014 season the Charlotte Bobcats witnessed the Jordan-endorsed Carmelo drop 62 points against them. Although this would ultimately be one of the few highlights of New York Knicks basketball that season, Melo’s prestige as a scorer should definitely help attract free agents this summer. Date: February 2, 2009 During 2009, the Los Angeles Lakers were dead-set on securing their first NBA title since the 2002-2003 season — Kobe in particular. The reigning league MVP had recently come off of a stellar year that ended in a Finals loss to the Boston Celtics, and with a strengthened team returning, the Lakers were poised to win-it-all this go around.

With Kobe around the peak of his powers, a February 2009 contest against the Knicks witnessed the Mamba score 61 points in the “Del Sol” Nike Zoom Kobe IV. It also bodes well in Kobe’s favor that Spike Lee would be documenting the experience as well. Date: December 17, 2006 The toughest thing about crafting this feature is delving deep into the array of awful alternate uniforms throughout the NBA, and the mid-2000s Washington Wizards certainly had their own with this gold and black catastrophe.

However, the one bright spot was witnessing “The Hibachi” aka “Agent Zero” aka Gilbert Arenas score 60 points against his hometown Los Angeles Lakers during December of 2006. Sporting his signature adidas Gil Zero, Arenas would help the Wizards defeat the Lakers in OT with his 60-piece. Date: January 22, 2006 Mr. Bryant seems to be on this list a lot, as the Mamba has been known for his scoring prowess and ability to light a defense on fire. None was more spectacular than his scoring assault on the Toronto Raptors for the tune of 81-points.

Coach Sam Mitchell still hates him to this day as a result. Jalen Rose refuses to discuss it. After being down 20 points in the first half, the Lakers would rely on Kobe, who went off for the second highest scoring output in league history in his debut Nike Zoom Kobe 1 model. Date: December 20, 2005 During the mid-2000s, Kobe Bryant would incur seemingly bizarre outings in which the stellar guard would go on an array of scoring tears that would result in teams questioning their entire defensive gameplan. An example of this would occur in December of 2005, as he would destroy the Dallas Mavericks in just three quarters of work with a scoring total of 62 points. He did so rocking a lasered Lakers PE of the Nike Air Huarache 2K5.

Although the Detroit Pistons were one of the few teams that came away form the NBA trade deadline as “winners”…

[835,1223981
1225659,1225551,1223982

2":"type-post

Anthony Davis: 59 Points
