It’s been a long yet elevated road to recovery for Kyrie Irving<\/strong>. Having played his last game during the 2015 NBA Finals in June, after suffering a left kneecap fracture, Irving’s inner strength propelled him to an amplified training regiment to get back on the court far ahead of traditional rehabilitation scheduling.<\/p>\n Making his season debut today against the Philadelphia 76ers, Irving’s accelerated \u00a0regiment to regain his All-Star form is inspired;\u00a0starting every morning at 6:30 a.m., for two and a half hours prior to team practice at 10:00 a.m., weight and strength training alongside on-court workouts help Kyrie re-establish his core. Yet, as history serves, working this hard is nothing new for the youthful guard – dating back to his prep school years in New Jersey.<\/p>\n
