For Errolson Hugh, designing technical outerwear with purpose and precision in mind has long been a defining principle of his work. The founder of Acronym Studio has made a name for himself by crafting and developing jackets and pieces that feature more than just basic coverage against the elements, with unique silhouettes, constructions, shapes and modularity in mind.

After working on a series of Air Force 1 launches, Hugh has once again teamed up with NIKELAB on its latest ACG collection of outerwear, looking to add his perspective on elevated looks and materials for the coming winter season.

“We always view technology as a function of quality,” outlines Hugh. “So high tech for its own sake is basically decoration. It only makes sense to use the technology if you’re creating a tangible benefit.”
