For months, rumors have swirled that a Red \/ White Air Jordan XI would be releasing this holiday season, possibly even on December 23rd and alongside an Air Jordan XX9 in a 2-shoe pack similar to last year’s “Ultimate Gift of Flight Pack.”<\/p>\n

First seen as a PE made for Jordan signature athlete Carmelo Anthony, the alleged release has resurfaced several times in recent months, mostly as a hue-contrasted photoshop image of the “Pantone” XI that released last December. It’s an easy flip to switch the hues from carolina to red.<\/p>\n

With lots of uncertainty surrounding the launch, I’ve confirmed with multiple sources at Nike that rumors of the Red \/ White XI releasing are false.<\/strong><\/p>\n

The shoe won’t be releasing this December, on its own or as part of a “2PK” launch<\/a>. <\/strong><\/p>\n

“Not coming out period,” confirms a source.<\/strong><\/p>\n

We’ll keep you posted if more information becomes available, but at this time, the shoe simply isn’t releasing.<\/p>\n
