Nike has had a history of applying the glow-in-the-dark attribute to its sneakers with its most recent being the Air Yeezy and the Hypermax “McFly”. In addition, Nike has now applied the same feature to the newly-designed Nike Trainer 1.

The Nike Trainer 1 “Lights Out” pays tribute to Manny Pacquiao’s knockout of Ricky Hatton on May 2nd, 2009. With that said, the tongue contains his recognizable logo. As for the makeup, this Trainer 1 features a mostly black base combined with a speckled sole of the same color. Its glow-in-the dark outlining appears on the border of the swoosh, the shoelaces, the heel panel design, the aforementioned speckled midsole among other places. This shoe will be available on September 25th, 2009 at Nike Park The Fort. Click here to view additional photos.

|
