However, though, Japanese designer Alexander Lee Chang had something else in mind for his latest with Vans.<\/p>\n<p>In lieu of new colors or materials, Chang digs deeper by replacing the lacing system with three retro styled velcro straps. Keeping with the shoe&#8217;s OG color concept in tonal shades of blue, Chang boldly repurposed the elder silhouette triumphantly.
