His contributions to the game, as being one of the best big men, are unmatched; yet, the sneakers he wore while destroying competition night in and night out were nothing less than superb as well. During the 1989-90 season, which was The Admiral&#8217;s first year, Nike began to design &#8216;Flight&#8217; shoes for the guards and &#8216;Force&#8217; shoes for the big men. Therefore, this classic high-top was worn from the get-go by one of the best big men in the game.<\/p>\n<p><!--nextpage--><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center\">\n<h1 style=\"text-align: center\">Nike Air Unlimited<\/h1>\n<figure id=\"attachment_29424\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-29424\" style=\"width: 600px\" class=\"wp-caption aligncenter\"><figcaption id=\"caption-attachment-29424\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">Nike Air Unlimited <\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>David Robinson wore the Nike Air Unlimited during the 1993-94 season. Many sneaker enthusiasts have labeled this sneaker one of the best that Robinson wore throughout his career. Likewise, Robinson had one of his more productive season in this shoe. Specifically, he scored 71 points in one game while wearing the Air Unlimited.<\/p>\n<p><!--nextpage--><\/p>\n<h1 style=\"text-align: center\">Nike Air Command Force<\/h1>\n<figure id=\"attachment_29424\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-29424\" style=\"width: 600px\" class=\"wp-caption aligncenter\"><figcaption id=\"caption-attachment-29424\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">Nike Air Command Force <\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>The Air Command Force was easily one of the more popular sneakers Robinson ever wore. In addition to The Admiral wearing this sneaker, it was also Billy Hoyle&#8217;s sneaker in the movie <em>White Men Can&#8217;t Jump<\/em>. It was also Nike&#8217;s second high-top sneaker to feature Air Pump technology.<\/p>\n<p><!--nextpage--><\/p>\n<h1 style=\"text-align: center\">Nike Air Force V<\/h1>\n<figure id=\"attachment_29424\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-29424\" style=\"width: 600px\" class=\"wp-caption aligncenter\"><figcaption id=\"caption-attachment-29424\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">Nike Air Force V<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>The Air Force V became the second pair of high-top Nike sneakers that Robinson wore during his extensive career. During his sophomore season, Robinson wore this sneaker which obviously released during the 1990-91 NBA season. That year also became one of his most productive as he averaged 25.6ppg and 13rpg.<\/p>\n<p><!--nextpage--><\/p>\n<h1 style=\"text-align: center\">Nike Air Ballistic High<\/h1>\n<figure id=\"attachment_29424\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-29424\" style=\"width: 450px\" class=\"wp-caption aligncenter\"><figcaption id=\"caption-attachment-29424\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">David Robinson cheering his team on in the Nike Air Ballistic High<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>Although the previous sneakers were some of our personal favorites, this Nike Air Ballistic High may be more memorable to Mr. Robinson himself. With that said, this was the very sneaker David Robinson wore while helping the USA win the 1992 Olympic gold medal.
