However, 2015 has showcased a variety of surprises as the aforementioned model will be available at retailers this weekend. With a deep backstory that oddly encompasses a variety of different stars such as Carmelo Anthony and Kobe Bryant\u00a0this latest edition of Snkrs Day Throwback Thursday<\/strong> is certainly worth the views.<\/p>\n To see more, flip through the pages below to get a peek at the history of the Air Jordan 1.5.<\/p>\n Fresh off of an outstanding career at North Carolina, Michael Jordan would enter the 1984 NBA Draft that would go on to be touted as one of the best classes in league history. With a variety of notable footwear brands seeking Jordan’s services as an endorser, specifically adidas – the famous sneaker broker Sonny Vaccaro helped facilitate\u00a0one of the largest endorsement deals in history.<\/p>\n As featured within this 2015 ESPN 30-For-30 entitled: Sole Man, Vaccaro would further elaborate how the historic partnership between Jordan and Nike came to fruition.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n The first Air Jordan signature silhouette would change the way we looked at sneakers for the foreseeable future as the Air Jordan 1 would be unveiled in 1985. Created by former Nike designer Peter Moore, the Air Jordan 1 took cues from iconic Nike Basketball silhouettes such as the Nike Dunk.
