For sneakerheads, our collections are wearable art. But sometimes it works in reverse, and art collections features shoes. Yesterday we showed you a Shepard Fairey MJ Print, and today we bring you another Nike-inspired piece of art–Gabriel Dishaw’s “Frankenstein Terminators” junk art.

Dishaw is based out of Indiana and specializes in using “junk” like scrap metal and spare computer parts to create sculptures. This is actually his third Nike-related bit of work, and you can check out the other two on his website. The Nike Terminator is a classic high-top silhouette, and Dishaw wanted to, “[…]do it right?by?making?the?entire package: from the shoes, to the shoe box, label, diagram and shoe tags.” This sculpture is an incredible piece, and its clear that Dishaw, who is a sneaker fiend himself, did this just right.

|
