While the NBA season may have ended just weeks ago, with the Golden State Warriors capturing their first league championship in forty years, luckily pro hoops hasn’t been gone long, as the annual Summer League has already kicked off.<\/p>\n
Showcasing this year’s rookie class, hungry journeymen and developing players from across the league, both the Salt Lake City and Orlando-based summer sessions got underway this week. Rookies Stanley Johnson and Justise Winslow have impressed early, while Magic forward Aaron Gordon is also off to a quick start after missing most of last season with a foot injury.<\/p>\n
It’s worth noting that several rookies are still in the process of negotiating their shoe deals, so they may eventually be spotted in different brands by the time the key Las Vegas Summer League begins next week.<\/p>\n
