Crafted by Nike Basketball’s Footwear Design Director, Leo Chang, today brings forth the official unveiling of the Nike Hyperdunk 2015. Aiming to solidify its reputation among the most technically advanced hoops silhouettes of all time, the progressive new silhouette draws design inspiration from the famed Nike MAG.

With contemporary design cues fueled by the futuristic stance taken by the Nike MAG years ago, the Hyperdunk 2015 highlights of wealth of new technologies and performance updates. Hyperfuse construction embarks throughout the upper while flexible collar foam aids in lockdown support. Further assisting that effort is an internal bootie crafted in mesh and foam materials, alongside Flywire cables that hold it all together.

Below, a Phylon midsole ensures lightweight stability and cushioning while midsole foam surrounds the heel functions. Lastly, the Hyperdunk 2015 outsole follows in a long line of great traction silhouettes like the Kyrie 1 and Kobe 10 with a unique Herringbone pattern to enhance tackiness and grip. Material reduction at the outsole should also be noted, aiding in minimal weight and exposing Zoom Air cushioning.

The Nike Hyperdunk 2015 drops in July 1 in Bright Crimson, followed by a white colorway on August 1. Six other colorways will drop between July 1 and September 30, all of which will be available at Nike.

Release Date: July 1, 2015

Nike Hyperdunk 2015
