With Game 3 of the NBA Finals set to take place in Cleveland tonight for the first time in nearly a decade, it seemed fitting that we pay homage to the wonderful city by the lake as we present the latest NK Original featuring the Cleveland Cavaliers’ All-Time Five.

Now before you Clevelanders and fans of “The Land” hound me on our choices, it’s imperative to realize that this is a sneaker driven All-Time Five. So the likes of Zydrunas Ilgauskas and Mark Price will not canvas these pages for those that are Ohio purists. However, this list doesn’t lack the star power as the usual suspects of LeBron James and Kyrie Irving grace our proverbial “squad” and some others that will definitely shock you.

To see for yourself, flip through the pages below and let us know in the comments section your thoughts on the Cleveland Cavaliers All-Time Five.

It’s rather unfortunate to see Kyrie Irving unable to compete fully in the NBA Finals due to a fractured kneecap robbing the stellar guard of three to four months of basketball action. However, we still decided to celebrate the Australian-born and New Jersey native as he leads our Cleveland Cavaliers All-Time 5. With his signature debut beginning during the 2014-2015 season, the Nike Kyrie 1 has arrived in an array of different hues and has easily cemented Kyrie as yet another formidable figure within the Nike Basketball family.

Before J.R. Smith made the notion of a “mercurial sharpshooter” rather en-vogue, it was Delonte West who handled that role relatively well during the late 2000s as he and LeBron James helped make the Cavaliers a viable championship contender. Although West would part ways with Cleveland after LeBron’s exodus to South Beach, his time in Ohio was stellar as he showcased a variety of LeBron Zoom Soldier PEs as well as Nike Basketball staples. His respective kick game has always been strong even dating back to his collegiate days at St. Joes.

Despite his short tenure with the Cleveland Cavaliers, people tend to forget the “heat” that C.J. Miles has sported on several occasions during his times at the Q. As a Kicks On Court regular, Miles has been seen in several Air Jordan staples and Nike iD models that featured the Cavs aesthetic. The Dallas native has been documented on several occasions of having an elaborate sneaker rotation and seems to be a viable candidate for an episode of Sneak Peek in the future.

It’s rather perplexing to think of what could’ve been for Darius Miles. Coming out of the Illinois area and making the jump straight to the NBA from High School, plenty felt as though the forward would be a renewed and revamped version of KG. While Miles would have a lengthy but average NBA career, his impact within the realm of culture cannot be understated which is why he’s a solid member within the Cleveland Cavaliers All-Time Five. After being dealt from the Clippers, Miles would continue to sport a variety of intriguing Air Jordan PEs such as the Air Jordan 9 and Air Jordan 17 during his tenure with the Cavaliers. Although his head bump partner and close friend Q-Rich would still remain in the City of Angels after Miles’ departure, the duo’s knack for style still finds its way to NBA hardwoods today.

Listen, it’s LeBron James. Did you really think that we’d leave him off this list?! Here’s an example of LeBron’s excellence, he’ll probably have his number retired with two different franchises and has won multiple MVPs with two different franchises. Oh yeah, his sneakers… The Nike LeBron signature line is only second to the Jordan Brand in regards to revenue under the Nike insignia. So, it’s safe to say that LeBron James has lived up to the hype – and then some.

With Game 3 of the NBA Finals set to take place in Cleveland tonight for the first time in nearly…

[618,1219126
1224836

2":"type-post
