Previously, we put you on to the Solebox x adidas Consortium Rod Laver. However, we now have beautiful pictures of the make-ups of the Rod Laver that comprise pt. 2 of the Adidas Consortium Rod Laver Series.

Clearly, each collaborator within the project sought different inspirations to create their final design. In fact, the diversity within the series is instrumental in illuminating the aesthetic versatility of such a simplistic and minimalist sneaker as the Rod Laver. The Clot, Goodfoot, and Solebox versions choose to allure via textures inherent in their respective materials. Whereas, the D-mop edition strikes your eyes with its braggadocio silver and creates an irony of ornamental coloring vs. minimalist design. Lastly, Wood Wood reinforced the motif of the Rod Laver by complimenting its minimalist silhouette and decades-long heritage with a subtle and classic navy/white colorway. Overall, this series of collaborations really defines the handshaking emblem of Adidas Consortium that graces each of the tongues within the series. More specifically, each collaboration serves as a testament to the partnering of creative minds.

The Adidas Consortium Rod Laver Series Pt. 2 will release on the 19th of September.

|
