On September 19, 2009 we will be graced with the latest Solebox collaboration. The Solebox x adidas Consortium Rod Laver will retail for 80 euros and is a part of a collaboration pack including Clot, Wood Wood, D-Mop, and Goodfoot. On the Solebox shoe we can expect a dichotomy of rough and synthetic suede with compliments of mesh and 3M. As for coloring, the upper is wholly brown excluding the 3M heel tab and the tongue and lining are a deep burgundy. The sneakers come with two pairs of laces so you may choose whether you wish to tighten your feet with burgundy or brown laces. Or if it’s your thing, you can always go the mismatching route. Lastly, these kicks feature their moniker, “sole lover,” on the heel of the sole.

What aspect of this shoe stands out to you? Is it the combination of plush materials or the stamp of the sneakerhead’s axiom on the heel?

|
