The weekend is here and so are our Staff Picks. From an overseas exclusive to an upcoming signature, see what select members of the Snkrs Day team picked as the best kicks from this week of news. Let us know if you’re feeling any of these in the comments section and share your favorites with us from the past week, too.

Nike Air Max Plus “Viper”

“Really been wanting to add a pair of the Air Max Plus to my rotation. Slept hard on the OG colorways when they came back but have really taken a liking to the newer colorways that have been surfacing. The only problem is that they are dropping overseas and not here in the States. These would definitely be a welcomed edition to my summer travel rotation. Would love to take these bad boys out on the road.”

Air Jordan 11 Low “Citrus”

“These take me back to middle school. Right now, I don’t think these will drop in a size big enough to fit a men’s 11, but if so they do they may end up being my first pick up of the year and first retro Jordan purchase in almost four years.”

Nike KD 8

“Huge disclaimer here: I don’t really care for the looks of these at all, and I’ve also never been the biggest fan of red. However, I’m a HUGE fan of Zoom Air, and the new articulated and low profile full-length Zoom bag being introduced in the KD 8 next month is enough to pique my interest. Leo Chang’s designs can be expected to fit and perform well, and his traction patterns are second to none, so I’m looking forward to getting a ton of summer runs in the newest Kevin Durant signature model — just maybe in a different colorway.”

Nike Air Huarache White/Dark Grey-Bright Crimson

“There has been a ton of Huarache colorways released this year, and I’m almost certain things won’t slow down anytime soon. While I’ve only copped the triple-black color way so far, this White/Dark Grey-Bright Crimson pair has definitely caught my attention.”

Nike Air Diamond Fury

“Nostalgia always wins.”

“Ken Griffey, Jr. is one of my favorite athletes of all time. His swing, his trot, his speed, his fearlessness; all appeal to me. Not only did he play great, he looked great. His uniform was always on point, and his footwear was impeccable.”

“The Nike Air Diamond Fury is iconic to me. Every time I see the photo of him from 1995 jumping into the wall I can’t help but fixate on his cleats. The bold design, the high-contrast colorway, the way they looked as he sailed foot first into the wall; just beautiful.”

Nike Air Max 93 “Persian Violet”

“I don’t own a pair of AM 93’s as of yet and I’m hoping these may be my first pair. I love the shape of this silhouette. They’re curvaceous and aggressive, while unique and distinct in comparison to its counterparts. Considering I missed out on the size? collab last year, these will do just fine.”

The weekend is here and so are our Staff Picks.
