Proceeds from the auction go to help the Doernbecher Children&#8217;s Hospital. As mentioned above, it&#8217;s been announced that the original Kanye West signature shoe will be included in the auction. Two pairs, in fact.<\/p>\n<p>The first is the black and gum pair Kanye wore at the 2008 Grammy Awards that set the internet on fire with anticipation for the eventual 2009 production versions. According to Chi McBride, who was on hand to announce this news with Jordan Brand Creative Director Mark Smith, Kanye had to give them back to Nike after the awards show.?Kanye didn&#8217;t even see the second pair of Yeezy&#8217;s up to the highest bidder.
