words // Gregory Williams:

Back with new artwork, Shannon Favia has whipped up a trio of brand new Air Jordan-inspired paintings. Having already reimagined several of Jordan Brand’s most iconic silhouettes, Favia shows love to the Air Jordan 1, Air Jordan 4 White/Cement and Air Jordan 7 “Olympic.” With the Air Jordan 1 painting showcasing the timeless model in a Bull-inspired palette, Favia’s AJ4 painting not only shows love to the year the shoe was released but to Mars Blackmon as well. Rounding out her latest creative efforts, a gold background evokes memories of MJ winning gold during the ’92 Olympic games in Barcelona while balling out in the AJ7 that is prominently featured about the center of the canvas. Get familiar with each of Shannon’s new paintings after the jump and be sure to follow her on IG to keep up with all of her work.
