words & interview \/\/ Nick DePaula:<\/strong><\/p>\n As the adidas brand continues to enjoy some tremendous momentum over the past year, thanks in part to both new products like the Tubular, original classics like the Stan Smith, and the undeniable influence of Kanye West, Jon Wexler<\/strong> is one of many key people at The Three Stripes that deserves heaps of credit for some of the strategic moves taking place behind the scenes.<\/span><\/p>\n The current Senior Global Director of Entertainment and Influencer Marketing at adidas, “Wex” is tasked with building relationships with key stakeholders across the entire cultural landscape, as well as identifying artists that the brand wants to sign to a more formal partnership. Like Kanye West, Big Sean<\/a>, Pharrell, Pusha T and many, many others.<\/span><\/p>\n Not only is Wexler putting in work behind the scenes, but he’s also one of the brand’s most visible proponents on social media through his @Wex1200 Instagram<\/a> and Twitter<\/a> accounts.
