words \/\/ Darren Griffin:<\/span><\/p>\n While confirmation that the secondary sneaker market recently reached a billion dollar valuation may wow, that number – at least within the past three months – is somewhat misleading. According to Campless<\/strong>, over the past 90 days, eBay<\/strong> sneaker sales has decreased significantly. The online reseller still represents roughly\u00a0one-quarter of the entire U.S. resell market, yet in October eBay sneaker sales the 12 months prior had been $338 million. Currently, that number has lessened to $334 million.<\/span><\/p>\n Now, this decrease certainly doesn’t negate the flourish of the market nor its very accurate $1 billion worth. However, though, its interesting to see numbers dropping throughout the first quarter of 2015 in the resale markets largest sales avenue.
