George Kiel, our Editor-In-Chief, hosted the “Colon Cancer Awareness Month” Kick & Roll Open Gym session this past Saturday through his organization, the Kiel Colon Cancer Foundation. The event, which took place at the Austin Recreation Center in Austin, Texas, is an extension of his Kick & Roll Classic 3-on-3 Basketball Event, is a sneaker-themed monthly pickup basketball gathering designed to raise awareness for colorectal cancer and encourage healthy lifestyle.

There were tons of nice sneakers spotted on court at the event, including a few of the participants who brought out mismatched pairs and switched shoes up to six times. Check out some of the recap footage below, and visit the Kiel Colon Cancer’s “Blue” blog for more info about the event.
