It’s only been a month since our last update of the Kicks On Court Champion race, but a lot has changed in so little time. For the first time this season, Tony Wroten falls out of the Top 10, and Phoenix Suns forward Marcus Morris slides into the countdown. Take a look at the overall\u00a0Kicks On Court Champion<\/strong> race and the highlights we’ve witnessed through Month 4.<\/p>\n

10. Marcus Morris<\/h3>\n

Markieff Morris has been getting all of the attention for his Foamposite rampage so far this year, but his twin and partner in crime Marcus Morris has been turning some heads as of late as well. His LeBron 12 iDs are some of the best, and he’s also sprinkled in some of LeBron’s older models, such as the LeBron III and the LeBron X.<\/p>\n

Though not a Jordan Brand athlete, Isaiah Thomas continues to bring out a wide variety of retros and current signature models. In the past month, he has added the Air Jordan 5Lab3, the “Venom” Air Jordan 10, the “Lady Liberty” Air Jordan 10 (during All-Star Weekend) and a couple of Jordan CP PEs. Keep your eyes peeled to see what he brings out as a member of the Boston Celtics now.<\/p>\n

Due to a decrease in playing time, Terrence Ross’ status on our list dropped from #3 to #8 this month. He has slowed down a bit on the retros and is not bringing out as many Kobes to the court as he did earlier in the season. Nonetheless, his index as a whole this season is still very impressive.<\/p>\n

7. James Johnson<\/h3>\n

James Johnson was the surprise of last month’s roundup, as he practically wore a new shoe in each game of January. In February, he slowed down a bit, opting to mostly keep his feet in low-top models, such as the “Black History Month” Nike Zoom Run The One and the Nike Zoom HyperChase.<\/p>\n

6. J.R. Smith<\/h3>\n

Smith’s Kicks On Court Index so far<\/strong>: “Easy Money” Nike KD7, “Legacy” Nike Kobe 9 Elite, “Peach Cream” Nike Kobe 9 EM, “Knicks” Nike Air Foamposite One, Nike Hyperdunk 2014 iD (in honor of his late grandfather), “On the Road” Nike KD7, Nike Kobe 9 Elite iD (4), “Heart of a Lion” Nike LeBron 12, “Dream” Nike Kyrie 1, “23 Chromosomes” Nike LeBron 12, Nike HyperRev 2015 PE, Nike KD7 iD, “All-Star” Nike Kobe X, “Black History Month” Nike LeBron 12, Nike LeBron 12 PE, “Data” Nike LeBron 12<\/p>\n

J.R. Smith wears shoes from any and every signature line, but it seems as if he has found himself a favorite. He spent the first week of February in a couple of LeBron 12 colorways before switching to the “All-Star” Nike Kobe X for the rest of the month.<\/p>\n

5.\u00a0DeMar DeRozan<\/h3>\n

Demar DeRozan\u00a0has\u00a0exclusively kept his feet in Kobes this season. He sporadically played in the Nike Kobe X during February, but his biggest splashes came in the form of his fan-designed Nike Kobe 9 EM iDs that he brings out with Toronto’s “Dino” throwback uniforms every time.<\/p>\n\n

4. LeBron James<\/h3>\n

LeBron James is now up to 23 Nike LeBron 12 PEs for the year. His latest include the “Awards Season” Nike LeBron 12 and a special splatter-paint pair that he brought out at Madison Square Garden after All-Star Weekend. Not to mention, he played one game in the Nike Zoom LeBron Ambassador VII during February.<\/p>\n

3. Markieff Morris<\/h3>\n

Markieff Morris, probably the biggest surprise of this season, has now brought his Foamposite total up to 15 this season. For February, he dabbled in a couple of recent releases, namely the “Mirror” Foamposite One and the “Aqua” Foamposite Pro.<\/p>\n

Due to a recent injury, Nick Young hasn’t dominated our Kicks On Court headlines like he normally does, but he’s still switching shoes on a nightly basis. Besides the four Kobe X colorways that he’s worn for Month 4, Young opted to wear the HyperRev 2015 and the Air Jordan 18.5 in surprising manner.<\/p>\n

His index continues to grow and might be one of the best we’ve seen from any player ever.<\/p>\n

Team Kicks On Court:\u00a0Phoenix Suns<\/h3>\n

The Phoenix Suns reclaim the “Team Kicks On Court” title for this month. With P.J. Tucker consistently switching up his kicks, Markieff Morris lacing up Foam after Foam and the emergence of Marcus Morris, this roster is arguably the team to watch in regards to kicks on court.<\/p>\n

Biggest Kicks On Court Surprise:\u00a0Kyle Korver’s Nike Kobe X “Three-Point Contest” iD<\/h3>\n

During All-Star Weekend, Kyle Korver brought out the best NIKEiD we’ve seen all year. The shoe itself was a surprise, but it was more remarkable that it was Kyle Korver of all people.<\/p>\n

Best Shoe On Court:\u00a0P.J. Tucker’s\u00a0“Playoff” Air Jordan VIII Low<\/h3>\n

Not only did P.J. Tucker lace up the “Playoff” Air Jordan VIII Low, a shoe that we haven’t seen on court since Michael Jordan himself wore it, but he had the presence of mind to bring it out in Chicago of all places.

Best PE On Court:\u00a0LeBron James’ “Awards Season” Nike LeBron 12<\/h3>\n

The Awards Season PEs of last year were some of the best on court, but King James may have topped those and this year’s designs with his Black and Metallic Gold Nike LeBron 12 PE.<\/p>\n

Best NIKEiD On Court: Nerlens Noel’s Nike LeBron 12 iDs<\/h3>\n

Philadelphia 76ers big man Nerlens Noel has been pumping out LeBron 12s at an impressive rate this season. Besides\u00a0LeBron himself, Noel’s iDs are some of the best we’ve seen all year.<\/p>\n
