While words can&#8217;t truly express the impact MJ has had on not just the retail world but the game of basketball as well, his presence is still very much felt.<\/p>\n<p>Regarded as one of the greatest basketball players to ever play the game, <a title=\"Michael Jordan\" href=\"https:\/\/www.snkrsday.com\/tag\/michael-jordan\/\" target=\"_blank\">Michael Jordan<\/a> catapulted both himself and the league to worldwide stardom thanks to his competitive play, uncanny athletic ability, and that unforgettable tongue-hanging showmanship that we all know and love. Though his entire career is well documented with an accoutrement of highlights, the likes of what he was able to do over the course of his illustrious career is still just as amazing to see now as it was back then. Inspiring all to be &#8216;Like Mike,&#8217; MJ was a consummate professional who always left it all on the court in highlight reel fashion.<\/p>\n<p>Whether you remember him for being clutch against Georgetown as a freshman in &#8217;82 or for sinking the game-winner against the Utah Jazz in &#8217;98 to capture his sixth NBA title, Michael Jordan will forever live in infamy as one of the most iconic athletes to ever ball out on the hardwood. Though he may be 52 today, Michael Jordan will always and forever be 23. Happy Birthday MJ.
