While that sounds incredibly enticing on paper, the lack of &#8220;football plays&#8221; during the actual event, such as tackling, makes this contest a mere formality. However, while the play may have been a bit suspect at times, the footwear donned by some of the league&#8217;s best was far from suspect\u00a0as we see a variety of Nike, Air Jordan and custom models all grace the gridiron. So, with that in mind, we present the best of the 2015 NFL Pro Bowl in the inaugural edition of <strong>Gridiron Kicks Spotlight<\/strong>. To see more, flip through the pages below and let us know in the comments section below which player had the best heat.<\/p>\n<h2>Pro Bowl Practice<\/h2>\n<p>Much like the Super Bowl, the activities\u00a0leading up to the Pro Bowl are an event unto themselves, as Pro Bowl practices occurred in Tempe, Arizona this week. With each of the players rocking a variety of different models, we catch Odell Beckham Jr. <em>(no pun intended)<\/em>, rock a Giants PE of the Nike Vapor Carbon 2014 model, as well as this Pro Bowl PE of the innovative Nike Vapor Untouchable cleat.<\/p>\n<p>In addition, two Nike endorsers, Antonio Cromartie and A.J. Green, were each seen spotted in this new, and yet-to-be-released Nike football model.<\/p>\n<p><!--nextpage--><\/p>\n<h2>Nike Staples<\/h2>\n<p>With the NFL\u00a0being represented by Nike on the apparel front, the 2015 NFL Pro Bowl was pretty much a showcase for all soon-to-be released Nike apparel. The Nike Vapor Untouchable cleat was featured the most, as a variety of players sported the model that is the first of its kind to fully utilize Flyknit technology on the gridiron. However, some players such as T.Y. Hilton and A.J. Green decided to remain rather simple as they would incorporate their usual models such as Hilton&#8217;s Colts PE of the Nike Vapor Carbon 2014 and Green&#8217;s Cincinnati Bengals Home PE of the Nike Alpha Pro cleat.<\/p>\n<p><!--nextpage--><\/p>\n<h2>adidas and Under Armour<\/h2>\n Dallas Cowboys running back DeMarco Murray in a Pro Bowl PE of the adidas adizero 5-Star Cleat\n<p>Aside from Nike dominating the realm of endorsers gracing the Pro Bowl gridiron, a variety of adidas and Under Armour athletes made some noise as well. Kicking things off with adidas, Team Irvin team captain\u00a0and NFL leading rusher DeMarco Murray shined in minimal action while rocking this Pro Bowl PE of his customary adidas adizero 5-Star 3.0 model. In addition, Jimmy Graham of the New Orleans Saints also rocked a stellar adidas model as well.<\/p>\n<p>While adidas members remained prominent in many respects, Maryland-based company Under Armour provided their athletes with Pro Bowl PEs as well, such as Randall Cobb of the Green Bay Packers, Marcell Dareus of the Buffalo Bills and even J.J. Watt of the Houston Texas who currently remains to be a &#8220;sneaker free agent&#8221; at the moment. It&#8217;ll be interesting to see what Watt commands considering his elite status within the NFL.<\/p>\n JJ Watt and Marcell Dareus in Under Armour models, respectively\n<p><!--nextpage--><\/p>\n<h2>Show Stoppers<\/h2>\n<p>Much like the NBA All-Star game, players look to bring out the best of the best when in elite company that is comprised of mostly their\u00a0peers. This couldn&#8217;t have been anymore evident as Odell Beckham Jr and Mark Ingram stole the show by rocking their stellar models. Starting things off, Odell Beckham Jr. enlisted the help of noted custom artist SolesBySir, who created this one-of-one custom of the Nike Vapor Carbon 2014 cleat. Utilizing two different motifs, we see this custom employ a variety of different hues and images, such as crowns.<\/p>\n<p>As we mentioned prior, Mark Ingram kept things classic by bringing out the Air Jordan 12 &#8220;Playoff&#8221; Cleat. We&#8217;ve seen Ingram lace up Jordans during the year such as a pair of Saints-inspired Air Jordan 3s. It&#8217;ll be interesting to see if the Jordan Brand takes note of Ingram&#8217;s adoration and brings him on-board.<\/p>\n<p><!--nextpage--><\/p>\n<h2>L-O-B<\/h2>\n<p>Members of the Seattle Seahawks made an appearance at the 2015 NFL Pro Bowl and each member rocked a variety of heat ranging from Air Jordan models to High-Fashion silhouettes. Some of the notable faces included: Earl Thomas, Richard Sherman, Michael Bennett and Kam Chancellor.
