The news of a\u00a0Nike Air Max 90 “Infrared”<\/strong> 2015 release shouldn’t come as a major surprise to many, but we’ll take it no matter what.<\/p>\n We have just confirmed with a solid source that indeed the Nike Air Max 90 “Infrared”<\/a> will release in original form in 2015 as the classic Air Max shoe celebrates its 25th anniversary this year. \u00a0The source also dropped a hint that we should expect several interesting iterations of the Infrared 90s<\/em> in 2015 with some uber-limited drops that we should be excited to see soon.<\/p>\n For those not familiar with the history of the Nike Air Max 90<\/a>, here are some quick facts. \u00a0The AM90 was originally released in 1990 as the Nike Air Max III. \u00a0When the shoe was retroed just a few years after its debut as Nike’s premier running sneaker, it took on the Nike Air Max 90 title. \u00a0The Air Max 90 was designed by legendary designer Tinker Hatfield<\/a> and was the first shoe in Nike’s arsenal to sport the Infrared colorway despite many people who associate the color being first seen on the Air Jordan 6 (also designed by Tinker).<\/p>\n
