Every December, the majority of the footwear brands bring out their best to conclude the years and 2014 is no different (see Jordan Brand December 2014 Lineup).

I was turned off by the price at the time – especially when all retros were about $150 during 2011 – but now I’m convinced the extra $25 was well worth it. I love this shoe, and I’m still trying to add it to my collection.

Twitter: @geokthree/Instagram: geokthree

Twitter: @_AlmightyGreg/Instagram: Almighty_Greg

Jordan Brand has owned the month of December for a number of years, but my favorite December release of all time was actually something from Nike Basketball. For three consecutive years, Nike released a limited run of LeBrons in celebration of King James’ birthday. In 2006, it was the last, but best in my opinion with a Hardwood Classics colorway on the Nike Zoom LeBron IV.

Twitter: @matthalfhill/Instagram: matthalfhill

My choice would definitely have to be the Air Jordan 12 “Flu Game.” They released during my senior year of high school, and it just reminds me of so many great memories. Shout out to Pflugerville High School one time! Class of 2010.

Twitter: pierceisdope/Instagram: pierceisdope

Seeing how Jordan Brand completely has completely dominated the month of December for the past decade, it’s pretty easy to see which brand my choice lies with.

Growing up I was fortunate enough to get a ton of shoes, including every Jordan silhouette up to 17. The only downside was I would always get the first colorway to release which was the home, white/black/red. Unfortunately, I would miss out on a lot of the now coveted, “Bred” makeups. Lucky for me, Jordan 11s retro every December, and in 2012, I was finally able to snag a pair of the “Bred” 11s for my collection.

Twitter: @sidashford/Instagram: sidashford

Every December, the majority of the footwear brands bring out their best to conclude the years and 2014 is no…

[1219126
1225857

2":"type-post

Ian Stonebrook
