On New Year’s Eve, we launched our #NK50 list of the year’s top 50 sneaker releases. While Jordan Brand was certainly heavy on the shelves in 2014, some of their best makeups didn’t even make it to retail. Focusing strictly on the Jumpman, we count down the 25 best Air Jordan PEs of 2014.

Flexing on daddy, young Kiyan Anthony topped his father’s also awesome Jordan Melo M10 “Oregon” PEs with an Air Jordan 11 PE of his own. This GS one-of-one featured an all-royal blue upper with clean white contrast.

We know Russell Westbrook has his own Air Jordan 1 colorway coming to retail in 2015, but can we get these too? The Barneys backed style guy came correct with this all-gold AJ1.

Fans that attended the Drake vs. Lil Wayne Tour saw one of the best shows of the summer. Artists that performed in the Drake vs. Lil Wayne Tour saw these on their feet.

Is that an icy bottom? A better shot of this shoe might have shot this PE up about ten spots.

If we’re keeping it real, just about every kick collector would rather have any other pair on this list than these XX9s. What makes this pair so important is that it helped shift perception on the Air Jordan XX9. Panned on first look, especially in the elephant adorned pattern, this Russ PE added cool points to the silo and styling.

Jimmy Rollins has heat, this is well known. In 2014, he took to the diamond in a plethora of PES, but this all-red Air Jordan 13 stands out as the best.

CP3 has long been in the good graces of Jordan Brand. While he mainly stuck to his own signature in 2014, these Air Jordan 10s crack our top 20.

Jordan Brand really racked up a lot of hits last MLB season. This heartfelt Mother’s Day PE for Gio Gonzales was a home run.

It’s hard to beat the Ducks. Though not a JB school, their Nike weight has made for many heavy PEs for their various sports program.

Red patent leather and gold bottoms on an Air Jordan 12? We can only imagine how popular these would be if released in basketball form.

Usher did all-gold Air Jordan 3s first, but this Drizzy take is still hot. Using tumbled leather and city centric tongue tagging, expect to see more Drake PEs in 2015.

Not only did Russell Westbrook get two Air Jordan 10 PEs in 2014, he hooped in them both. What a boss.

Nothing too clever here, just a pair of classic kicks converted into a cleat for one of the game’s best wideouts.

Jordan Brand rewards winners, this much is true. Super Bowl champion Earl Thomas found that out as he scored two celebratory takes on the Air Jordan 6.

Simply put, these are fire. Not only was it a huge surprise to see the Air Jordan 16 back on the hardwood, but to see it in such a clean colorway was also great.

Macklemore made the most of the year of the Air Jordan 6 by coming up with this subtle but swaggy PE.

We can’t wait to see Jabari Parker return to the court. When he does, we hope he wears more exclusives like this.

Nothing was going to steal the show in the “Anaconda” music video, but these PE Air Jordan 3s for Drake still caught some eyes. Using lenticular film for a fresh take on the elephant classic, this Mark Smith design could be a preview of what’s to come next from JB.

The boss of all bosses made good on both his business ventures with this team-themed take on the Air Jordan 13.

Not to be confused with Jim Carrey’s alter ego in Liar, Liar, the Air Jordan 6 “The Claw” PE for Kawhi Leonard debuted a dandy logo in a clean colorway that didn’t overshadow his identity or his accolades.

The Air Jordan 3 is said to be taking a break so we probably won’t see these anytime soon. That’s too bad because the use of gradient styling on the laces was pure fire.

All Maya Moore does is win. All Jordan Brand does is congratulate her with incredible PEs.

The Emerald City claims Ken Griffey Jr., Shawn Kemp and Gary Payton as their top sneaker stars. Time to add Macklemore to that list.

If Carmelo Anthony would’ve went to the Bulls then maybe we would’ve seen these on the NBA hardwood. Until then, we see them on the red carpet.

In a year full of great Jordan Brand PEs, Usher’s “Solid Gold” Air Jordan 11s shine brighter than the rest.

[polldaddy poll=8557042]

On New Year’s Eve, we launched our #NK50 list of the year’s top 50 sneaker releases.
