One brand that was louder than any was <strong>AND1<\/strong>. The streetball savvy shirt company officially became a player in shoe biz in 1996 when the released the first signature for their first endorsee, the <strong>And 1 Stephon Marbury Mid<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>Retailing at $79.99, the model featured the instantly iconic AND1 figure and also the super slept on Marbury logo (you may recall Steph rocking this logo in the form of an iced-out chain on the <a title=\"Hooped Up Online\" href=\"http:\/\/hoopeduponline.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/03\/marbury_garnett_slam.jpeg\" target=\"_blank\">&#8220;Showbiz &amp; KG&#8221; SLAM cover<\/a>). The shoe launched in 1996 during Steph&#8217;s rookie season in both home and away colors, available at a range of retailers from <a title=\"Eastbay Blog - OG AND1 Marbury\" href=\"http:\/\/blog.eastbay.com\/all\/eastbay-memory-lane-and1-stephon-marbury-mid-winter-1996\/\" target=\"_blank\">Eastbay<\/a> to JCPenny.<\/p>\n<p>Since then, the shoe has been the subject of eBay searches for fanatics but forgotten by most. That is until now. A recent upload from <a title=\"@b3nberry on IG\" href=\"http:\/\/instagram.com\/b3nberry\" target=\"_blank\">Ben Berry<\/a> and <a title=\"The Hoop Doctors Kicks on IG\" href=\"http:\/\/instagram.com\/p\/v2NWPFgmre\/?modal=true\" target=\"_blank\">The Hoop Doctors Kicks<\/a> sees retro samples of the AND1 Marbury in both original colorways. According to <a title=\"@mrbrando3 on Twitter\" href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/mrbrando3\" target=\"_blank\">Brandon Edler<\/a> of Finish Line, the model will drop in 2015 and we&#8217;ll also see the return of the OG shorts.
