However, despite the injuries that sapped Hardaway of his superb skills, his lasting legacy continues through his stellar signature line. With the Nike Air Max Penny 1 &#8220;All-Star&#8221; set to hit retailers this Saturday, October 25th, what better time than to showcase this model in the latest edition of <a href=\"https:\/\/www.snkrsday.com\/tag\/throwback-thursday\" target=\"_blank\">Throwback Thursday<\/a>. Hardaway would go on to be selected by the Golden State Warriors with the 3rd pick in the 1993 NBA Draft. However, Hardaway would never see time in the Bay Area as the stellar guard became apart of a historic draft day trade that would eventually land him in Orlando.<\/p>\n Chris Webber and Penny Hardaway\n<p><!--nextpage--><\/p>\n<h2>Rising Star<\/h2>\n Hardaway in various Nike Models\n<p>Upon his arrival in Orlando, Penny would boost an already exciting team as his pairing with a youthful Shaquille O&#8217;Neal would pose problems for the Eastern Conference. Following his rookie campaign, Penny would put up averages of 20-plus points per game, 7 assists and 4 rebounds over the course of three straight seasons. In 1995, Nike unveiled the Nike Air Max Penny 1, a shoe that featured innovative Air Max cushioning in big fashion.
