The second week of October has been an interesting one within the sneaker industry, as the unveiling of the latest Air Jordan 6 model and a peak at the latest highly-anticipated adidas collaboration, has provided some great content for sneaker lovers. With that in mind, we provide you the latest edition of Snkrs Day Staff Picks. Flip through the pages below to see if some of your favorite kicks made the cut, and to get a glimpse at the week that was in sneakers.

KXK ZX 750 RG 84-Lab “Pencil”

“I must find these shoes…”

Nike Air Command Force

“$200 is a lot for a pair of shoes. Now that I’ve got that out of the way, these are awesome. Most people thought this shoe would never come back, and NOBODY thought they were gonna come back with the OG tooling. Props to Nike and props to the writers and readers that make a point to push for quality product. Two Benjamins is pushing it, but I might just have to buy a pair to cast my vote for more releases of this standard.”

Nike Air Max 95 Cool Grey/Obsidian

“JD Sports has attained so many exclusives that I’ve wanted over the years. Add this “Cool Grey” Air Max 95 to the list. The different shades of grey look great on this 95, and the obsidian patent leather strip is a nice contrast to an otherwise colorless and pale shoe. ”

Air Jordan XX9 White/Black

” Didn’t really like the Jordan XX9 at first. But as new color ways like this start to surface, I’m slowing starting to feel some kind of way about them (in a good way). Plus, who doesn’t love Elephant print. ”

Nike LeBron 12 NSW Lifestyle

“This is hands down Nike’s best collection of lifestyle signatures. They managed to nail every silhouette perfect from the LeBron 12 NSW, KD 7 NSW and last but not least, the Kobe 9 NSW. While I like all 3 for different reasons, the LeBron stands out to me with its luxurious aesthetic. It’ll be interesting to see where the line goes from here.”

CNCPTS x adidas Stan Smith

“While we only have a teaser image to go by, I’m liking the materials and colorway from the CNCPTS x adidas Stan Smith Teaser. Hopefully we’ll get more pictures and release information soon!”

Macklemore’s Air Jordan 6

“An incredible colorway for the lost team of the Northwest. Hey Adam Silver, let’s bring back the SuperSonics..”

Adidas x Pharrell Williams “Tennis” Stan Smith Pack

“Yea I know this idea has been done already, but it’s a great idea and it looks really good on the Stan Smith. Great execution here and I would say the orange ones are my favorite.”

The Good Will Out x ASICS Gel-Lyte V “Koyo”

“Are these nice or what?? German sneaker shop The Good Will Out really seems to know what they’re doing with collabs, after releasing the “Autobahn” New Balance 577’s last year, and now these. The elegant attention to color blocking and materials on these is right up their with Ronnie Fieg’s ASICS releases. And dare I say, these are way better than at least the last three of Ronnie’s Gel-Lyte V’s.”

Nike Zoom Hypercross Trainer

“I’ve been looking forward to trying out a pair of the Hypercross trainers since they were unveiled, and this is my favorite colorway yet.”

The second week of October has been an interesting one within the sneaker industry, as the unveiling of the latest…

[1342,742
1209741,1225545

2":"type-post

Allison Halfhill
