With the month of October still within its beginning stages, many sneaker fans are clamoring at the opportunity to bring out some of their awe-inspiring autumn themed footwear. Much similar to our readers, the Snkrs Day staff seems to think on the same accord as the latest edition of Snkrs Day Staff Picks is set to showcase some of the most anticipated models of the Fall season. From a highly-coveted Air Jordan release to an innovative Chukka, this week’s selection from the Snkrs Day personnel will surely turn some heads. So, flip through the pages below, and let us know in the comments section which Snkrs Day staffer had the best selection from the week that was in sneakers.

Air Jordan 11 “Legend Blue”

“Haven’t been too excited about retro releases as of late, but definitely had a change of heart when it comes to these joints. Missed out the Columbia’s way back when, so this is a sweet shot at redemption. I’ll be coming out of retail retirement for sure. ”

Air Jordan 13 “Grey Toe”

“This is my favorite retro release of 2014. That’s right – I said it! Lots of people will be lined up for the Legend Blues and the Infrared 6s, but I will be doubling up on these without hesitation. While these never released originally, they were samples and cancelled. Dare I call them an OG?” mita sneakers x New Balance MRT580 “The Battle of the Surfaces”

“This mita x New Balance MT580 is the first time we have seen the tennis ball material used in a collab since Alife came out with the Reebok pump in yellow for the guys and pink for the ladies back in 2006. I think it is really refreshing when designers, especially collaborators, go beyond the typical leather and suede and choose alternate textures and materials to express their creativity. Well done mita.”

CNCPTS x Vans Syndicate Old Skool “Rat Hunter”

“Love distressed denim, love the Old Skool silo.”

Nike Lunar TR1 “Oregon/Kay Yow

“I liked the silhouette prior to the breast cancer awareness themed colorway, but with the new hue, I’m all-in.” Nike Flyknit Trainer Chukka SFB “Sage”

“These look like some dope alternatives to a pair of traditional boots, and I bet they are a whole lot more comfortable as well. Out of all three colorways previewed by Nike Lab, this “Sage” colorway definitely takes the cake for me.”

Nike Air Trainer 1 Mid PRM “Chlorophyll”

“Of all the new releases this week, this was the most surprising to me. It seems like the OG Air Trainer 1 was still available less than a year ago from the last time they retroed, and now already back again. I’m not complaining, though, since they’re one of the best shoes ever!”

Nike Flyknit Trainer Chukka SFB White/White

“Mike P picked the “Sage” colorway, but I have to go with the all-white rendition of the Nike Flyknit Trainer Chukka SFB. The white-out Flyknit upper really brings out the technical details within the shoe. This is just a clean shoe, period.”

Nike KD 7 “Good Apples”

“I really like the muse for the “Good Apples” KD 7. Plus, I’m a fan of the black, green and red color scheme, so this is a winner in my book. ”

Nike Roshe Run NM “Dusty Cactus”

“Sometimes you just have to go back to basics. The Roshes have always been comfortable and cheap, and the fact that these are in my favorite color combination is just the icing on the cake.”

Nike Air Force 1 Wheat/Baroque Brown

“Although I own a pair a Timbs, it’s kind of tough to wear them during the “cold” part of the year due to Texas’ climate. With Nike translating that look into a low Air Force 1 silhouette, I could definitely see myself pulling these out of the closet a few times a week during those winter months.”

With the month of October still within its beginning stages, many sneaker fans are clamoring at the opportunity to bring…

[742
1209741,1225545

2":"type-post

Gregory Williams
