Celebrating David Robinson‘s birthday, we look back at the two-time NBA Champion’s best sneaker sightings of his entire career, from college to his lifelong tenure with the San Antonio Spurs. Finishing out his service over the next two years, Robinson would again don Cons for the USA Basketball Team in the 1987 Pan American Games and ’88 Olympics. Robinson joined the San Antonio Spurs in 1989 and kicked off his historical Nike Basketball run that included some of the brand’s most iconic designs.

Flip through the following pages to get a full recap of the best sneakers David Robinson laced up over the course of his illustrious basketball career, and keep Snkrs Day bookmarked for everything sneakers.

Team: U.S. Naval Academy After only playing organized basketball for one year during his senior year of high school, David Robinson grew six inches and turned into the best player in Navy history over the course of three seasons.
