G-Eazy is a man of simple style. Heralded as the rap-game James Dean, the Bay Area MC boasts a wardrobe of black and white understated classics, with his kick game falling into similar fashion. While G-Eazy recalls copping the Countdown Pack Black/Cement 3s back in ’08, it was picking up a pair of Black/Red 1s years before that shaped his current taste in kicks. See what the man in black is rocking these days in this installment of My 5.

G-Eazy: “I’m really into 1s right now. The ‘Bred’ 1s were probably my first pair. I had the [2001 version] like way back. I picked them up a couple years after they dropped via eBay or something. I’ve been wearing the ‘Banned’ 1s these days.”

G-Eazy: “I like the Authentics. It’s just beautiful, and it’s real simple. Straight up, just all-black Vans.”

G-Eazy: “I picked up the ‘Shadow’ 1s at the Nike Store in SoHo randomly. I missed the drop because I’m always on tour. I came through a few days after the release date and they still had my size.”

G-Eazy: “I just keep it simple with some black Common Projects. Real simple.”

G-Eazy: “I wear all-black every day, so the only color I’ll wear is on my feet. [For me] it’s really just 1s, 3s, 4s and 5s.”

G-Eazy’s new album These Things Happen is available now on iTunes.
