We’ve seen more custom sneakers on the NBA hardwood this season than ever before, and usually it’s the younger players who steadily bring them out to make a statement. However, the 38-year-old Ray Allen joined in on the custom craze by lacing up a custom Air Jordan XX8 SE in Game 3 of the NBA Finals. The 1-of-1 sneaker, created by @SolesBySir, was delivered to Allen prior to the game in Miami on yesterday. The design, which looks similar to some of the Miami Heat-themed PEs Jordan Brand creates for the 10-time All-Star, makes use of a white base with gold accents on the toe area, eyelets and heel tab. It also features a red midsole, red branding and is completed with a white outsole.
