The Internet has been buzzing lately with rumors that the Air Jordan 4 “Oreo”, Air Jordan 4 “Columbia” and Air Jordan 7 “French Blue” could possibly make a retro return in 2015. All three pairs had only previously released in the early 2000s, which was a very different time in sneaker culture.

Although Jordan Brand retros were somewhat of a new idea during that era, the non-original colorways released have since became classics in the eyes of many today. The Air Jordan 11 “Space Jam” and the “Cool Grey” Air Jordan 9 are prime of examples of the timeless footwear releases that came from Jordan Brand in the early ’00s, that have both returned as re-retro releases to great fanfare. To pay homage to that great era, we compiled a list of Air Jordans from 2000-05 that we would love to see make a comeback. Peep our favorites in the post below, and then give us your personal favorites (on the list or off) in the comment section.

The Air Jordan 3 “Mocha” was the first non-OG colorways of the Air Jordan 3 to release to the public. The shoe boasted an all-white upper and midsole with mocha brown elephant print and other accents.

Air Jordan 3 “Mocha” If this “Cool Grey” Air Jordan 4 released again, it would garner just as much attention as the return of the “Cool Grey” Air Jordan 9.

Air Jordan 4 “Cool Grey” The absence of color on this Air Jordan 5 doesn’t mean there would be an lack of demand. If brought back, this AJ 5 would surely fly off shelves.

Air Jordan 5 White/Silver Unfortunately, we haven’t seen an Air Jordan 6 Low make a come back this year, even with all the classic Air Jordan 6s returning. This low-profile version would have been great for the summer.

Air Jordan 6 Black/Chrome

The black and chrome version of the Air Jordan 8 would definitely shine if it received the retro treatment.

Air Jordan 8 Black/Chrome

The combination of tumbled white leather, smooth grey suede, and french blue branding on this AJ 9 is hard not to love. Bring ’em back, Jordan Brand!

Air Jordan 9 “French Blue”

Sporting obsidian and ice blue, the coldest colorway of the Air Jordan 1o definitely deserves a second run.

Air Jordan 10 “Ice Blue”

We’ve seen a few Air Jordan 11 Lows already drop this year, but none as fresh and clean as this White/Zen Grey color way.

Air Jordan 11 Low White/Zen Grey Although it utilizes a hue made famous by the Air Jordan 13, the Air Jordan 12 “French Blue” is one of the most coveted colorways among its silhouette’s catalog.

Air Jordan 12 “French Blue”

We haven’t been blessed with a “Wheat” Air Jordan in some time. A retro of this Air Jordan 13 might just revitalize the colorway across the board.

Air Jordan 13 “Wheat”

Playing off grey and volt tones, this non-OG AJ 14 was a little ahead of its time. We can only hope these will release again soon.

Air Jordan 14 Graphite/Chartreuse The Internet has been buzzing lately with rumors that the Air Jordan 4 “Oreo”, Air Jordan 4 “Columbia” and Air Jordan 7 “French Blue” could possibly make a retro return in 2015.
