Mike Will Made It‘s sneaker rotation reads a lot like his production catalog: hit, hit, hit, hit, hit. While recent releases like Future’s “Move That Dope” and Rick Ross’ “War Ready” knock, old favorites like Rihanna’s “Pour it Up,” Juicy J’s “Bandz A Maker Her Dance” and Ace Hood’s “Bugatti” continue to get spins. On the drop date of his latest single, “Buy the World,” his sneaker spread showcases the same mix of new classics and time-tested bangers. We caught up with Mike to hear which kicks stay in his rotation in this installment of My 5.

Mike WiLL Made It: “You can’t even lose. I was in Flight Club in New York [when I got these], but I didn’t see the 6s. I’m still trying to get those “Tokyo” 5s and OG 12s, so whoever has those, holler.”

Mike WiLL Made It: “I try to keep it basic…keep it with the OGs.”

Mike WiLL Made It: “I’m well connected. Nike’s family, Kanye West is family (Editor’s Note: Mike has a production credit on “Mercy”), so they make sure I’m straight. They actually just ended up on my doorstep. I came back in town and they were at my house. I don’t try to bring them out too much.”

Mike WiLL Made It: “Still. I’ve got the ones that just released, but I like the “Banned” 1s better. I like the leather on the “Banned” 1s better, so I can never steer away from those.”

Mike WiLL Made It: “We can’t forget those. I’ve got those in the closet, too. I’ve got an LA Dodgers jacket and a white tee that I wear with those. I like to keep it simple and original. You can’t lose with original.”

Air Jordan 11 “DMP”
