Tomorrow, the Air Jordan 11 Low “Concord” will release for the first time ever. While this model certainly has its share of buzz, there’s a long, long list of low-top Jordans that have preceded it. In the spirit of the warm weather and this weekend’s hot launch, we spotlight 11 low-top Air Jordans we want back in rotation. Peep our favorites in the list below, and give us your personal favorites (on the list or off) in the comment section.

Last Released: 2002

Patent leather made its retail debut on the Air Jordan 9 in low-top fashion. While the white-on-white take is certainly summer ready, we’re craving this “Blue Pearl” colorway.

Last Released: 2001

MJ’s alma mater doesn’t get enough love in the retro game these days. That was a non-issue back around the turn of the millennium. This “Columbia Blue” low top was much louder than its mid-top counterpart, spreading the accent tone all over the mudguard.

Last Released: 2002

Worn by Jordan in his first All-Star Game as a Wizard, the Air Jordan 17 Low “Lightning” packs a keen balance of flash and technical power.

Last Released: 2004

With the Dipset movement movin’ movin’ once again, it’s safe to say an Air Jordan 12 Low White/Pink retro would get computers ‘putin. This Cam’ron colorway was released in ladies sizes but had plenty of men lining up to cop.

Last Released: 2002

The Air Jordan 6 is prime for a big year. Why not bring back the lows for the summer? Not an OG iteration, the AJ6 Low wasn’t exactly a huge hit when first released. This time around, we think the tune would be different.

Last Released: 2005

Yes, we’re still waiting on the retro return of the “Chutney” and Navy/Black 13 Lows. Still, it’s hard to deny the flash on this 3M mesh makeup. Sporting the same shades as the “Thunder” 4s, this Lifestyle launch is still fire nine years later.

Last Released: 2003

“Playoff” 8s are a hot summer shoe. A little too hot. The strapped up silo was never much for ventilation, but a below the ankle cut certainly helped with that. These are great for beating the summer heat while maintaining OG flavor.

Last Released: 2002

The Air Jordan 17 may be the one model where the low is truly better than the mid. Skipping the shroud for a lower cut and fashionable bootie lining, this OG adaptation just works. Much like the “Lightning” colorway, we want the “University Blue” makeup back.

Last Released: 2001

Women might have gotten the biggest win on the first round of Air Jordan 11 Low drops with a patent mudguard. While all iterations still stack up well, the “Citrus” colorway is a must for most.

Last Released: 2001

We’re patiently waiting for an Air Jordan 16 retro as a mid, but we’d take the lows, too. The White/Red rendition of the latter still registers as clean and re-release worthy.

Last Released: 1995

The Air Jordan 2 Low White/Black-Red serves as the only shoe on this list that’s actually been released twice. First dropped with the OG roll-out and later retroed in ’95, this pair would still wear well on a third lap.

Tomorrow, the Air Jordan 11 Low “Concord” will release for the first time ever.
